Welcome to St. Bridget's Flower Farm! We are located in rural Solon, Iowa, close to both the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area. The flower farm was established in 2005, and we are still "growing" today. Despite torrential downpours, winters that are seemingly never-ending (bear in mind I'm writing this in mid-February!) and all the other wonders of nature that gets thrown at Iowa on a regular basis, we grow sustainably, producing chemical free flowers in abundance from late May through October.
Everyone is being pushed to be "green" these days, more responsible in our actions and in our purchases. St. Bridget's Flower Farm isn't only about being green--we'll leave that to Kermit. But, we are into providing our customers with the best in locally grown flowers--the colors are vibrant, the scent is intoxicating, and they last a long, long time. If you just happen to feel good about buying from us, all the better!
